This coffee is Fincas Mustafá Decaf (Ana Mustafá) from the hills around Pereira, Risaralda—part of Colombia’s famous Coffee Axis. While the region is traditionally known for high-volume commodity coffee, Ana is helping shift the story: producing small, specialty-grade lots through careful harvesting, separation and processing protocols.

Beyond the farms, Ana runs the LaREB cooperative, supported by Herbert and other producers, with a focus on raising quality and supporting smaller or less experienced members through production advice and professional quality control. LaREB also exports directly from farmers—strengthening the supply chain and returning more value to producers. Ana’s coffees are a major part of that work, contributing ~40% of LaREB’s income and ~35% of its total coffee output.
